If you have long or and thick hair it is advisable to braid it down
Clean your scalp with 99% alcohol to remove oil
Apply the skin protector to shield your skin if you’re sensitive
Put on your stocking cap to protect your hair
Apply a thin layer of liquid adhesive to perimeter of scalp once if you only need to leave the wig on for a day or two
If you need the wig to stay on for two or more weeks then you need to apply the tape on first then put on the liquid adhesive on top leave for 5 minutes.
Make sure that you have cut the lace off the wig then tie the wig into a pony tail and clip the baby hairs back
Align the wig onto the perimeter of your scalp and press down in the middle of your fore head first then continue with the rest of your head.
Use a tail comb to press the wig down firmly onto your entire scalp perimeter and leave for thirty minutes before any styling.
Lace Wig Removal
You will need lace release spray or c22 solvent
Put your hair into a pony tail and spray a generous amount onto the perimeter of your scalp and leave for one minute then lift off gently if all does not release then apply more lace release or c22 solvent
When the wig has been removed most of the glue should remain on your scalp. Simply apply some c22 solvent or 99% alcohol onto your scalp then clean off with cotton wool or baby wipes.
You can get any remaining glue on your lace wig by simply sliding it onto a mirror repeatedly until it is all gone.
Maintaining Your Lace Wig
Wash your lace wig once a month.
Make sure you use products such as SILICON MIX to wash and deep condition your lace wig.
When washing soak with silicon mix shampoo for 15 minutes in warm water making sure it’s not too hot so the lace does not shrink.
When deep conditioning your wig apply a generous amount of silicon mix deep conditioner and leave on for 20 minutes making sure you do not apply on the base/ lace so that the conditioner does not soften the knots.
Always air dry your lace wig and do not put heat on it unless absolutely necessary
Always use a wide tooth comb to comb hair or a Denman brush.
Do not put heavy grease on lace wig but make sure you use leave in conditioner on hair every other day to keep it soft and tangle free.
